OIDD-BHDD

We are honored to welcome D’Angelo Brown, Investigator with the Risk Management Department for OIDD-BHDD, as a special guest and valued contributor.

With experience in risk management, compliance, and safeguarding individuals receiving support services, Mr. Brown brings important knowledge and insight to our community.

The Office of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (OIDD-BHDD) works to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities by helping coordinate services, promote safety, and improve quality of care for individuals with lifelong support needs.

OIDD-BHDD serves individuals with disabilities including:

- Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Intellectual Disabilities
- Traumatic Brain Injuries
- Spinal Cord Injuries
- Other developmental and lifelong support needs

Through collaboration with families, providers, and community organizations, OIDD-BHDD focuses on protecting individuals, promoting independence, and ensuring individuals receive quality support and services.

We appreciate Mr. Brown for sharing his expertise and helping bring awareness to the importance of safety, advocacy, accountability, and effective care coordination.
